20 on Brand Guest Cameos The Big Bang Theory Ran

Sharing is caring!

The Big Bang Theory helped shape mainstream TV and brought new life to complicated terms like “Brobdingnagian Brobdingnagian” and other big words not often used in English. Executive producers Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady created the American television sitcom, and both served as head writers on the series, along with Steven Molaro. The Big Bang Theory aired in September 2007 and continued until May 2019, running for 12 impressive seasons.

The TV show initially revolves around five main characters: Sheldon Cooper (played by Jim Parsons) and Leonard Hofstadter (played by Johnny Galecki), both physicists at Caltech. Their socially awkward friends and colleagues, Howard Wolowitz (played by Simon Helberg), and Raj Koothrappali (played by Kunal Nayyar), join them. Penny (Kaley Cuoco), an aspiring actress and waitress, lives across the hall from the duo and, in later seasons, develops feelings for Leonard. Later, neuroscientist Amy Fowler (Mayim Bialik) joins the show as Sheldon’s love interest and subsequent wife.

Many famous people made appearances on the long-running show. Although most fans remember Bob Newhart’s portrayal of Professor Proton, many other stars you might have forgotten appeared throughout the series.
